The first step in beginning the design process is to have us come out to your home for the Initial Consultation (or you can bring measurements of the space to our showroom). If you are doing a new construction the first meeting will be in our showroom. At the Initial Consultation we will take measurements, pictures and walk the space with you. This is a fact gathering phase to begin our concepts.
At the second meeting, we will present our professional concepts and estimates. We will discuss your investment parameters and refine the design. We will then customize your door style, finish, interiors materials and accessories. We will make recommendations for appliances, surface materials, contractors and installers.
At this point you have only paid the initial Consultation fee of $150, which will be applied to your cabinetry cost, we have presented a design, you have met with a contractor and we have given you the total costs for your remodel. The next step, if you have decided to proceed, is the design retainer phase where we begin drawing the CAD detailed set of plans, which all third parties will be working from, and we write your custom cabinet order. We finalize all costs for cabinetry, counters, appliances, fixtures and contracting.
Once we have a delivery date for your cabinetry, we need to determine the best time to begin demolition so that you are not without a working space any longer than needed. We are constantly at the jobsite and in close contact with all third parties. One of our team members will also manage your delivery, we personally check off all cabinets and parts as they come off the truck to ensure nothing is missing or damaged. Our cabinetry is finished out of state and comes ready to be installed right away by our skilled installers.
